Aaron wrote the lyrics when we played a retreat at Singing Hills, NH, where we spent a good part of the weekend taking time out for voluntary, spontaneous laughing fits.
We recorded the 'Ten Bear Spaceship Wash' cassette soon after, and this was the lead-off track-- first sesh, first take.
Aaron wasn't even going to sing on this album. He was giving me a ride from church to The Grapefruit for the sesh planned for that day.
On the way there, we stopped at Dunkin' Donuts for Munchkins and Kamyar called and said he couldn't make it, so Aaron came in and took his place on vocals for that session.
From then on, Aaron was a regular member. ...and I actually did have lamb chops.
lyrics
Holey Moley-- Andrew's got the lamb chops!
Behold the lamb chops that are stuck to his skin.
The holy lamb chops that are stuck to his skin.
