I wrote these lyrics in U.S. History class in 11th grade. I was laughing at them, and the teacher asked me what was more important than the course material.
I read the whole thing. No one laughed.
lyrics
I was standing in the street with a raincoat on,
and a woman offered me a sandwich
With a side order of beans, but the light went green, and she stopped breathing and went stiff
I picked up the body, slung it over my shoulder,
and hauled it to the fire department parking lot
I reached into my pocket, I pulled out a trumpet,
and I blew it in her ear to wake her up
She took a breath of fresh air, she combed her hair
with a pink miniature children's plastic rake
And said, "I hope you don't have a fit,
but I've got to admit that my falling unconscious was faked"
She stood up and pulled out an ice cream sandwich
that haven't even started to melt
A dalmation wandered up, she fed half to the pup,
then she smacked me in the head to leave a welt
I said "hey, hey-- I didn't ask for so much trouble; compassion is something you lack"
"Sorry for the trouble-- I'll make it up double,"
she replied, indicating two ice packs
